About

About Chrysalis Surgery

Chrysalis Surgery was founded in 2009 with a quiet conviction: that gender-affirming care deserves a practice built entirely around it, not a wing of a larger cosmetic operation. From the beginning, every surgeon here has worked in this field and this field alone. That focus shapes everything — the questions we ask in consultation, the depth of the planning, the pace at which we move.

Our philosophy

Our story

Chrysalis Surgery was founded in 2009 with a quiet conviction: that gender-affirming care deserves a practice built entirely around it, not a wing of a larger cosmetic operation. From the beginning, every surgeon here has worked in this field and this field alone. That focus shapes everything — the questions we ask in consultation, the depth of the planning, the pace at which we move.

Our surgeons hold board certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery and fellowship in the American College of Surgeons, and Dr. David N. Sayah brings more than twenty-six years of surgical experience to the work. Facial, chest, body and genital procedures are all performed under one roof, alongside a private recovery spa designed for people who want to heal without being seen or explained. It means your care, from first conversation through the quiet weeks afterward, stays inside a single, discreet setting.

What has not changed since 2009 is the way we plan. Each path is built around one person — sometimes in a single stage, sometimes in several, always after an honest conversation about what will actually serve you. We do not fit people to a schedule. We take the time the work deserves, and we take it with you.
